Production of the Q7 first began in fall of 2006 at the Volkswagen Bratislava Plant in Bratislava, Slovakia. The Q7 is the first SUV offering from Audi, and it went on sale in 2007. The Audi Q7 shares a platform with both the Porsche Cayenne and the Volkswagen Touareg.
