In North America, only the wide-cab version of the W4 is available. In many countries, the W4 is not only used as a commercial work truck, but as microbuses that are converted by local body makers. The lighter four-wheeled models are commonly used as an intercity Angkot (share taxi), as a school bus, or as an employee bus.
